1733: This is from William Dixon’s book transcribed and published by Matt Seattle. William Dixon’s tune book is a collection of tunes by a Border piper in 1733, Matt and other’s work with it has helped to solve the problem of the missing Border piping repertoire alluded to earlier in the commentary of Skye Crofters (Track 5 on this album).
