8. Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine

This setting comes from Francis O'Neill. Highland pipers will likely recognize this melody as the Battle of Waterloo. Supposedly Donald MacLeod overheard a fiddler playing this tune, or something near enough to it, and made some adjustments to give us the setting for Battle of Waterloo we hear today, which is cracking on Highland Pipes, but I confess I may prefer O'Neill's setting on Uilleann Pipes over the MacLeod transcription.
